Location:

Infinity Sky sits nestled amidst the mountains of Hamta, 9 kilometers from Manali’s bustling Mall Road. The closest village is Prini, located 7 kilometers away. Our property is situated on a private road leading to the AD Hydro Project from Prini Village. Look for us on the right-hand side at curve number 28, with a short 50-meter uphill walk from the road.

Reaching Us:

Public transportation doesn’t reach our doorstep. The closest public transport stop is Prini village. From there, you can hike, hitchhike, or arrange a private cab to drop you right at our location.

Important Note for Drivers:

A special permit, easily obtainable for ₹100 during Manali SDM office hours (10 AM – 5 PM, weekdays excluding second Saturdays and government holidays), is mandatory for reaching us by private vehicles or outstation cabs. Kindly remind your taxi driver about this permit as well.

Road Conditions:

The final 9 kilometers to Infinity Sky involve a scenic but potentially challenging drive with 28 curves. The good news is, the road is generally accessible year-round.

Travel Options:

By Road:

  • Buses from Delhi or Chandigarh will drop you at the Manali bus stand. From there, a cab ride to Hamta Village costs around ₹1500 (subject to road conditions, potentially higher during snow season).
  • Travel time estimates: Delhi to Manali – 14 hours, Chandigarh to Manali – 9 hours.
  • Driving to Infinity Sky is possible with most vehicles year-round. However, during heavy snowfall or extreme rain, a 4×4 vehicle is recommended. If needed, you can park your car in Manali and take a local cab to our location.

Need Help with Taxis?

We have connections with local taxi services. Feel free to contact us anytime for pickup and drop-off arrangements. The cost for returning to the bus stand is similar to reaching us. We don’t charge any commission, so settle taxi fares directly with the driver.

By Flight:

Flights from Delhi and Chandigarh connect to Bhuntar (Kullu) Airport. The airport is approximately 2 hours from Infinity Sky. Alternatively, take a bus to the Manali bus stand, followed by a short cab ride (35-45 minutes) to Hamta.

Immerse yourself in a soothing jacuzzi experience within the privacy of your choice: a captivating glass igloo dome or a stunning infinity room. To ensure a perfectly heated jacuzzi for your enjoyment, kindly let us know at least 2 hours in advance.

A Sustainable Approach: We’re committed to eco-friendly practices and utilize solar water heaters to provide hot water year-round. To maximize this resource and allow all guests to fully experience the jacuzzi during their stay, we kindly ask that you enjoy it once during your 1-day visit.

Nestled atop Hamta village, our location boasts breathtaking views of the Kullu Valley. For a taste of local charm, head to Kalzang Dhaba, just down the road. This family-run favorite has been serving delicious meals for decades.

While Hamta itself is a peaceful escape, adventure awaits just 4 kilometers away. Sethan village, the last stop before the thrilling Hamta Pass trek, offers a glimpse into local life. Explore its 15-20 houses, savor authentic cuisine at the 3 dhabas, and discover the serenity of 3 stupas and a small Buddhist Gompa. Sethan also holds the unique title of India’s first Igloo Village, and during winter, transforms into a haven for skiers and snowboarders.

Beyond Sethan, numerous day hikes beckon from our doorstep, offering endless opportunities to explore the surrounding beauty.

Planning a mountain escape? While meticulous planning is essential, embrace the unpredictable nature of the mountains – the weather and road conditions can be whimsical. Yet, each season unveils the mountains in a unique and captivating way.

Spring (March-April): Witness the transition from winter’s icy grip. The air remains crisp, with snow-capped peaks still adorning the landscape. Be greeted by a symphony of colorful flowers blooming as the snow-kissed earth reveals vibrant shades of green.

  • Pack: Warm clothing, sturdy walking shoes (waterproof recommended), sunscreen, headlamp.
  • Activities: Explore Sethan village and its rich culture, visit Panduropa (a small water body with a legendary past) and the dam reservoir, embark on forest walks for a chance to find rare Morel mushrooms, take short hikes or visit nearby waterfalls (depending on snow conditions), unwind at GlampEco with breathtaking views.

Summer (May-June): Escape the city’s heat and bask in the refreshing mountain breeze. Witness the transformation as flowers make way for seasonal fruits. Take a leisurely stroll through orchards or find a shady spot under a tree for a blissful afternoon siesta. Expect occasional light showers towards the end of June.

  • Pack: Light jacket, fleece layer, full-sleeved t-shirts, high SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, good walking shoes, umbrella, headlamp.

Monsoon (July-August): Witness the mountains come alive in a vibrant tapestry of colors amidst the refreshing showers. Lush greenery takes over the valley, with apple trees laden with fruit. Be mindful of slippery roads while walking or driving. This season attracts artists seeking inspiration for their creations.

Autumn (September-November): Ideal for adventure enthusiasts – embrace trekking, bouldering, and other outdoor activities. The verdant landscape gradually transitions to hues of brown, and the air gets progressively cooler. Expect light snowfall and a significant temperature drop in November.

Winter (December-February): Witness the valley transform into a magical winter wonderland. Be mesmerized by sunsets glowing through the mist, blanketing the landscape in pristine white. Ideal for snow lovers and winter sports enthusiasts. Brace yourself for the biting cold – only for the truly adventurous.

  • Perfect for: Winter sports enthusiasts, those who adore snow-clad landscapes.
  • Pack: Extreme winter clothing (including minus-degree jackets, woolens, fleece, warm socks, thermals, double gloves, woolen cap, fleece-lined trousers, waterproof shoes with good grip), headlamp, hot water bag (recommended).
  • Activities: Explore numerous trails for snow hiking, experience the thrill of snow tubing, enjoy skiing or snowboarding based on your skill level, witness the magic of snowfall from the comfort of your dome, common area, or glass cafe, unwind with a book or games by the warmth of the wood stove in the common areas.

Unwind and Disconnect:

Nestled amidst nature’s embrace, our remote location offers a unique opportunity to unwind and truly escape. To fully immerse yourself in the tranquility and beauty of our surroundings, we recommend a minimum three-day stay. This allows you ample time to savor the charm of our property and explore the hidden gems of Hamta and Sethan villages.

If you crave an escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, a three-day stay will surely rejuvenate you. But for those who truly love spending time in nature’s embrace, an extended stay is ideal. With extra days, you can delve deeper into the unexplored beauty of the region, conquer scenic trails, and create unforgettable memories.

We offer a variety of activities for you to choose from, depending on your mood and the season. Hike through the nearby forest, stroll to Sethan village, or grab a delicious bite at a local dhaba. From December to March, you can even experience the unique Igloos in Sethan! Feeling adventurous? We can arrange day hikes tailored to your schedule.

Prefer a cozy indoor day? Curl up with a book from our curated collection – travel adventures, self-help guides, philosophical explorations, or captivating fiction await. We also have a selection of board games to keep you entertained or an acoustic guitar to spark a jam session.

Looking to connect with fellow travelers? Our communal areas are perfect for engaging conversations, sharing travel stories, or simply relaxing with new friends.

We’re home to a Siberian husky! Feel free to give her some love, but kindly refrain from feeding them.

Remember to follow the “Leave No Trace” principle while exploring the surrounding areas to preserve the natural beauty for others to enjoy.

Plan your meals in advance! We curate a delicious fixed menu featuring local specialties, Indian favorites, and Italian classics. We’ll send you the menu before your arrival via Whatsapp for easy pre-ordering to ensure timely service.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks! We cater to your cravings throughout the day. See below for our cafe timings:

  • Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
  • Dinner: 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Evening snacks: Order by 7:00 PM as the kitchen closes from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Stay cozy year-round:

  • Glass Igloo: Our Glass Igloo provides year-round comfort with built-in insulation and electric blankets for added warmth. They’re also equipped with heaters to ensure your stay is comfortable no matter the season.
  • Infinity Rooms: All rooms are well Insulated for all seasons. Electric blankets are also available for an extra touch of warmth.
  • Additional Bedding: For extremely cold nights, we offer additional blankets and hot water bottles upon request.
  • Social Spaces: Keep warm and toasty in the common area and featuring cozy bonfires fired up during the winter season.

Travel distances and estimated times from Infinity Sky (by private car):

  • Kasol: 87 km (2.5-3 hours)
  • Tirthan: 100 km (3.5-4 hours)
  • Atal Tunnel: 40 km (1.5 hours) – Important Note: Movement via the Atal Tunnel is halted twice daily for maintenance. Please check daily timings before you visit.

Please note: These travel times are estimates for ideal weather and road conditions. The actual travel time may vary depending on the specific conditions on the day of your trip.

The closest option is Dream Hamta Cafe, just steps away from Infinity Sky. There, you can chat with a friendly local couple and enjoy Maggi, local specialties, eggs, drinks, and snacks.

In the mood for a local experience? Head to Kalzang Dhaba, a 20-minute walk (or short drive) famous for decades. This family-run spot offers a similar menu of Maggi, local dishes, eggs, drinks, and snacks, served by a cute old local couple.

For a wider variety of shops and eateries, head to Sethan Village. It’s a 35-minute walk or a 15-minute drive from Infinity Sky.

During good weather, you can drive your car directly to our property entrance. However, when it snows or rains heavily, only four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended for safe access to Hamta Road. No worries though! You can still bring your car to Manali and park it in one of the designated parking areas. From there, you can easily hail a local cab for the final leg of your journey to Hamta.

For your peace of mind, we also offer limited on-site parking near our entrance gate, complete with CCTV surveillance.

While we don’t offer our own taxi service, we can connect you with reliable local cab providers. We trust them to get you where you need to go, whether it’s to Infinity Sky or exploring the surrounding area.

Just to be clear, we don’t charge any commission for this service, neither to the drivers nor to our guests. Any questions about the fare should be addressed directly with the driver.

Absolutely, Infinity Sky welcomes furry friends! 

We kindly ask that pet owners bring all the necessary items and ensure their pet’s well-being during their stay. Fun fact, we even have a resident Siberian Husky named Mango who might love to meet your pet!

Indulge in a one-of-a-kind stay at India’s first Glass Igloo Dome! Our glass igloos are equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, including a private bathroom, open-air jacuzzi, fireplace, gazebo, hammock, and tree deck.

For a different experience, we also offer Infinity Rooms with jacuzzi and Infinity rooms equipped with all the amenities.
